One of the interesting things about traveling is that you are confronted with different cultures and ways of life.
This is our first experience in Asia and something here is totally different than what we have had in the Pacific so far.

Sometimes, we are approached by local fisherman who come close to us in their canoes. If we are anchored, they just jump on board without asking and we have to stop them from getting inside the boat. Private space is definitely a different thing than what we consider it.
But what amazes us most, is that once on board, they won’t leave unless we grant them permission to do so.

In Spanish, we call it: ” el mundo al reves”.
